Visiting Medical Student Clerkships

TriStar Southern Hills Family Medicine Residency Program offers visiting medical student clerkships for those interested in additional educational opportunities.

  • We offer two-week and four-week clerkships for 4th year medical students. Observerships are not available at this time.

  • Visiting medical students work closely with family medicine residents and attending physicians. They participate in a variety of clinical settings.

    • Inpatient experience

    • Outpatient experience

    • Participate in morning rounds

    • Participate in weekly didactic sessions

Required documents

  • Medical school transcripts

  • USMLE/COMLEX scores

  • Current Curriculum Vitae

  • Personal statement

  • Immunization records

  • Precheck background and drug screen

  • Implementation letter (provided by the medical school)
